Welcome to St Theresa Class Page

As we embark on an exciting new academic year, we are delighted to welcome you and your children to Year 3 / 4. We aim to make it a memorable one filled with meaningful Wow Days, trips, learning  experiences and enjoyable activities.

Inspired by our class Saints, we feel humbled and blessed to follow in their footsteps and mirror their values of hard work and caring for others. This embodies our PSHE values of working as a team and respecting others as well as our school community.

As part of our Inside Out Topic, we are learning about the Anglo-Saxons, as part of our History, the Artwork, such as stained-glass windows and tapestries, as well as the Human digestive system including teeth. We hope your children will really enjoy this Topics linked to our Caritas Curriculum.

If you have any concerns, please feel free to speak to Mrs Spinks, or any of our LSAs. Please also feel free to email the office should you need to send messages. They will be passed on to us ASAP.

Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to a year filled with learning, fun and adventure!

 This Terms Caritas Theme

Year 3 / 4 question who is my community as they launch this unit enjoying Bill’s New Frock and discovering how stereotypes can shape/affect our beliefs of others. By learning how our bodies digest food and the structure of food chains in science we really look at ourselves inside out!  Through history we discover how Anglo Saxons built their community and research primary and secondary sources using our safe computing skills  and build a picture of their views and how community life has changed over time. Through art that tells stories, we create our own version of Beowulf a creature who gobbled people up inside out! By learning to sing Mamma Mia in music we really let our emotions lead the go.
