Miss Maureen Scahill

I have spent 37 years teaching in Catholic schools before my retirement nearly two years ago.
During this time I spent 12 years as Deputy Head in Woodford Green before returning part time as a class teacher.
During my teaching career, I have had responsibility for a variety of Curriculum areas.
At present, I am a Pastoral Assistant in my church in Ilford and play an active role in Parish life.
I am greatly looking forward to supporting St John Fisher Catholic Primary as a Foundation governor.

Mr Dave Coxell

I was born in Epping and have very fond memories of attending St John Fisher with my brother as a child.
I have spent 23 years in the Met Police, and am currently a Detective Inspector in the Specialist Crime Directorate.
I have previously been responsible for units such as Domestic Abuse, Child Protection, Gangs & Firearms and have been both a tactical and strategic multi-agency lead in Safeguarding and Child Protection for East London.
My family are committed Christians, and active members of the community in Loughton.
I have two children, a son who already attends SJF and a daughter who will be following shortly.
In my spare time,  I enjoy open water swimming, being outdoors, and antiques.

 Mrs Lyndsey De Oliveira

I spent much of my career working in the City for Morgan Stanley where I held varying roles broadly covering people and project management, which afforded me a wide range of finance and business skills.
Since having my children, I have returned to work more locally and my current role predominantly focuses on analysis of business process, improving efficiency, cost reductions and standardisation.
I am a parishioner at St. Edmund of Canterbury, Loughton and have been from youth and my two daughters are in years 3 and 6 at St. John Fisher.
I look forward in earnest to working alongside the St. John Fisher community and supporting their continued development as a Foundation Governor.

The Trustees

Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Multi-Academy Trust Board and the Local Governing Body work with the Executive Headteacher, the Head of School, the Deputy Headteacher and the staff across the trust to ensure the trust provides a good quality of education for all its pupils. For Information about the trust please see the Trust Website Link on the top of the page. Governors are not expected to make day to day decisions about how the school is run. That's the role of the headteacher and senior staff.

Governors have three main roles:

  1. to provide strategic direction for the school;
  2. to act as a critical friend to the headteacher
  3. to ensure accountability.

Our Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and expects all staff to share this commitment.

To contact the Chair of Trustees please email the clerk to governors clerk@ourladyoffatimatrust.essex.sch.uk

Please note - your enquiry will be sent to the chair person of the local governing body of the school you are enquiring about.
