Cafod - Walk to water - March 2021

‘Walk for Water’ is a challenge that has taken place over Lent. It’s a chance for us to transform our lives while changing someone else’s. CAFOD asked that we walk 10,000 steps – the distance that others may have to walk just to get fresh water.

Across the school, different classes set to the challenge to raise money for CAFOD. The results were impressive!

We would like to thank our families for supporting a wonderful cause in such difficult times. - an amazing £1,292 was raised

Y5+6 - St Joseph's Day - 19th March 2021

On the 19th March, the feast of Saint Joseph, the children of Year 5 and 6, spent time looking at Joseph’s life and the kind of man that he was. We discovered that he was both a considerate, loving man and a good citizen. The children made stations of the cross images with wooden frames. With Saint Joseph as their inspiration, they undertook an afternoon of sporting activity to reach their class 10,000 step goal.  (333 steps minimum each) for the Cafod - Walk for Water.
